Steering Committee

The Steering Committee at New Life Fellowship Church is made up of the Senior Pastor, 2 Lay Pastors, 3 Elders, and 4 Deacons. 

Together the Steering Committee under the leading of the Holy Spirit, make the decisions for the church.  Each person on the Steering Committee has one vote.  The Pastor moderates the meeting which may include members from the Presbytery.

Each Elder and Deacon is expected to be a tither, attend Life-Sharing bible study, and be faithful in regular church attendance and steering committee meetings.

All Elders and Deacons are required to live by the sexual standards within the church's constitution which limits sexual activity to married couples only and prohibits involvement in active homosexual relationships.  Any officer who is not willing to live by this standard should make it known prior to ordination.  Any officer who is unwilling to live by these standards after ordination should resign from office or decline to be installed or ordained.
